General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Reservations for rooms are subject to a deposit of at least one night's stay. The balance is payable on arrival or at the latest the following day before noon.

  Article 1 - Purpose
This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in the guest rooms and gîtes of the priory of Orniols. The best welcome will be given to our guests. The owners undertake to personally welcome guests with all the necessary attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region. Article 2 - Duration of the stay
The client who signs this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises. Article 3 - Booking and conclusion of the contract
The reservation becomes effective as soon as the client has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total amount of the stay with a minimum of one night's stay per room and a copy of the contract or the estimate signed before the date indicated on the reservation contract. A copy of the contract must be kept by the client. Prices are inclusive of all charges. Article 4 - Cancellation by the client
Any cancellation must be notified by letter or e-mail to the owner. a) Cancellation before the beginning of the stay: see the different conditions stated in the various sites:; expedia; AIRBNB; novaresa and the site of the priory of Orniols.In case of a pandemic, the owner will refer to the law in force and will be more flexible.b) If the client does not show up between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm, except in exceptional cases and having notified the owners, on the day scheduled for the beginning of the stay, the present contract becomes null and void and the owner may dispose of his guest rooms or gîtes. The deposit remains the property of the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the accommodation.c) In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of the accommodation shall be retained in full by the owner.Any additional services not used will be refunded.Any additional services not foreseen are to be paid for at the end of the stay. Article 5 - Cancellation by the owner
When, before the beginning of the stay, the owner cancels it, he must inform the client by mail or email.The client, without prejudice to any recourse for damages, will be reimbursed immediately for the sums paid.  Article 6 - Arrival
The client must arrive on the specified day between 4 pm and 7 pm. In case of late or delayed arrival, the client must inform the owner. Article 7 - Breakfasts
Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 10:00 a.m. A margin of 1/4 of an hour before or after this time is accepted, on request of the client.Breakfast can be prepared outside of these times on an exceptional basis. Article 8 - Payment of the balance
The balance is to be paid on arrival at the owner's.Any additional services not mentioned in the contract or the estimate must be paid to the owner at the end of the stay. Article 9 - Tourist tax
The tourist tax is a local tax that the client must pay to the owner, who then transfers it to the public treasury. Children under 13 years old are free. Article 10 - Use of the premises
The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their purpose. No meals may be taken in the rooms. The client undertakes to return the rooms in good condition and must declare any damage for which he/she may be responsible and assume responsibility for repairs. The whole house is a non-smoking area. Article 11 - Capacity
The present contract is established for a precise number of persons. If the number of guests exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse additional guests.This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of guests greater than those refused, no reimbursement can be envisaged. Article 12 - Animals
Animals are admitted with the prior agreement of the owners according to certain criteria and for a fee.
